Wind turbines are often extended in operation beyond 20 years after construction.
At Hokutaku, we conduct investigations (due diligence) of wind turbines in order to extend the life of wind turbines.
Prior to extended operation, we will investigate for any defects or abnormalities in various parts and provide advice on how to operate the wind turbine safely.

Rare/discontinued parts for sale and Troubleshootings

There are two challenges in extending the wind turbine.
The first is that many 20-year-old wind turbines have obsolete parts that are difficult to procure; the second is the need to deal with errors outside of the manual.
In response to these issues, we have alliances with overseas parts suppliers that enable us to supply parts that have been discontinued, and our long experience/know-how since the dawn of time has enabled us to track down the cause of problems and respond to them.
